| The commonest problems with chinchilla skin disease is ringworm which is a fungal infection which is transmittable to humans. So if you see a scaley area of hair loss it is worth getting it treated by a vet. The cheaper anti- fungal drugs available through pet shops is not very good at killing the organism off. We tend to use oral drugs as they kill the fungus off from the skin outwards. |
